Meet the Surgeon

Dr. Mario Luc graduated from Laval University Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and subsequently obtained a Master of Science in 2004. He then completed a five-year Plastic Surgery Residency at McGill University, in 2008. He further completed a one year of subspecialty training at the Medical College of Wisconsin, in the field of microsurgery and hand surgery.

In 2009, Dr. Luc was involved in a medical mission in Colombia. This opportunity allowed him to share his knowledge and expertise with the local surgical staff and his passion in treating children in need. Since 2009, Dr. Luc joined the Plastic Surgery Division at the McGill University Health Center.

In addition to work at the McGill University Health Center, Dr. Mario Luc operates at the Montreal Children's Hospital and the Shriners Hospital. He is known for his neat work and his very human approach.

Finally, Dr. Mario Luc professional and personal values include respect, honesty, perfection and patient care. He keeps himself updated with the most recent techniques and innovations. In addition of being a surgeon and a patient advocate, he is also a married and the proud father of two young children.
